CloudBased Backup was founded in 2010, born out of a gap in the market that many IT professionals recognised early on. We started by working with Mega, helping small and medium businesses manage their cloud storage needs across Europe. But time and again, we watched organisations hit the same wall: the tools available were either too expensive, too invasive with user data, or too complex for a small team to manage on its own.
When we discovered Nextcloud, the answer felt obvious. It was open-source, privacy-respecting, and packed with every collaboration feature a business could need. So we built the bridge.
